La Primavera

Friends, I think the spring, she has sprung.

The crows are back.


The geese are back.


And the Harleys are all lined up shining outside Tim Horton's coffee shop.

It's just...so beautiful!

    Not that it's particularly a sign of spring, but there were TWO woodpeckers merrily vandalizing the trees in the backyard this morning!

    There is still a lot of snow in the shady places, much of it hidden under a mantel of ice and gravel. And I DO thing that TWO woodpeckers is a sign of spring, collectively. ONE woodpecker, not so much, but TWO, hm, most suspicious

    We had an amazing fly-over last night of the honkers...hours and hours of them in formations. Truly amazing. Happy Easter, CR!
