And we certainly have had blizzards in May (absit omen)...but they were overnight anomalies -- although bad enough one year, with enough cold, to take the blossom off the crabapple trees. This is known as the "Year of No Crabapple Jelly." And I'm reminded that in 1975 we had temperatures well below zero as of this date. Despite these precedents, we still manage to complain a good deal however!Crimson Ramblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13020190454645032359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4452366057148963499.post-19385767142482350152008-04-23T11:25:00.000-07:002008-04-23T11:25:00.000-07:00Where you are, CR, you can expect this for at leas...Where you are, CR, you can expect this for at least another month, can't you? I remember flying Toronto to Kelowna once in the last week of May, which needed a change of airlines in Calgary. It was snowing so hard in Calgary that day that the plane wouldn't leave Edmonton to come and get us. Eight hours later.Kate Morningstarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03854090450164982040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4452366057148963499.post-61301417822642670712008-04-22T18:55:00.000-07:002008-04-22T18:55:00.000-07:00I feel your pain. Sunday we had 5" of snow and Rev gave the announcement at church that the youth would be making "snowmen bunnies" to help us all remember the Easter season during coffee hour. The youth were not amused. Fear not Spring will be here soon.
